My Money Tree (Rondeau)

Hard currency

My money tree is made of gold
And always has the funds to hold
The dreams I have to make them true
With just one swipe, well maybe two,
And fits into a wallet fold.

When I was young and first enrolled,
The rush was strong but well controlled.
I always fed it well when due,
My money tree.

But somehow I became too bold,
Nice things on sale were often sold.
A deal, I thought, but deals accrue,
And so they did and made me blue,
And now I’m left to shake and scold
My money tree.

My fear is over.
It already happened.
Get over it.
Wake up.
Conquer the vampire within.

May Allah make it easy for all of us.

In addition to the poem Forbidden Fruit Punch, I drew a picture too yesterday:

When you untwist the tangled rope, you are left with just the rope.
You can use it to hang yourself, or escape.
The choice is always yours.

Misreading the Qur’an

Help Yourself In Reading Holy Quran Arabic_English - Copy

Trained psychologist, experienced Middle East reporter and Accidental Theologist, agnostic Jewess, Lesley Hazelton, steps up to the crease to set the record straight with an excellent delivery on how to read the Qur’an…

A definite ‘MUST WATCH’ for both Muslims and non-Muslims alike!

Lesley Hazleton: A ‘tourist’ reads the Koran

So, who was this man, who was inspired to recite the glorious Qur’an 1,400 years ago and become the centre of controversy dictating, as it were, today’s world events from beyond the grave?

The Accidental Theologist rises to the occasion once again with another MUST:

Read The First Muslim By Lesley Hazelton.

Purify My Love

Just my thoughts!
Marlon couldn’t have said it better…
Love his stuff

Sounds of the Son

Purify my love
Strengthen my will
Deepen my commitment
Make my mind still

Sharpen my logic
Round out my heart
Shave off my excess
Give me new start

Flatten my fears
Dispatch my defence
Lift up my life
Make it make sense
